RAF Project Grants - for Individuals and Communities.

The RAF Project Grant is a stream of the Regional Arts Fund, an Australian Government initiative supporting the arts in regional and remote Australia. This program is managed by Regional Arts Australia and, in Western Australia, by Regional Arts WA and is designed to benefit regional and remote artists, arts workers, audiences and communities by supporting and promoting participation in, and access to, art and culture.

Project Grants are intended to assist arts and cultural development projects that meet the objectives and eligibility criteria of the Regional Arts Fund (RAF).

The aim is to support regional and remote communities, and individual artists to create high quality arts projects that develop partnerships and networks, broaden community engagement and increase employment and professional development opportunities for regional and remote artists.

The RAF Project Grants will operate as a competitive funding round. All Projects must be completed by 30 June 2022.

Round 1, 2021 opens 10 January, 2021 for projects that will commence after 1 July 2021 and will be completed by 30 June 2022.

Regional Arts WA can provide feedback on one draft per application if received before Thursday 25 February.

Applications close at 5:00pm, Thursday 11 March 2021.

Hint: also check the email hasn’t landed in your spam or junk email folder.

ATTACHMENTS AND SUPPORT DOCUMENTS

You may need to upload/submit attachments to support your application. This is very simple, but requires you to have the documents saved on your computer, or on a storage device.

You need to allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another file. Files can be up to 25MB each; however, we do recommend trying to keep files to a maximum of 5MB – the larger the file, the longer the upload time.

COMPLETING AN APPLICATION IN A GROUP/TEAM

A number of people can work on an application using the same log in details as long as only one person is working at a time. Ensure you save as you go.

SPELL CHECK

Most internet browsers (including Firefox v2.0 and above; Safari; and Google Chrome) have spell checking facilities built in – you can switch this function on or off by adjusting your browser settings.
